Band Name : Grey EveninG. Started : 20th January 2006. Genre : Acoustic, Emo, Indie. Based in : Singapore, Tampines. Influenced By: Cleavage, Rise Electric, Daphne Loves Derby, Absinthe Glow, Rooney, And Then I Turned Seven. Members : Kyle Adelaide and Ace Lone.
How they started: They were influenced by so many acoustic bands. They were lonely and needed music of their own. The first song they recorded is available for you in "MEDIA".
What drives them: Kyle was actually frustrated with his former band members and created another band. Then he disbanded with the band and was left alone. He then realised that he had songs unsung and unrecorded. Meanwhile Ace, who was in the same band as Kyle (Kyle's first band), left and met Kyle and booya! They decided to record their songs and name themselves "GREY EVENING". Their story goes on.....
Finally, they got our second song temporarily ready. But they'll be re-recording it very soon.
Greyevening are ultimately boosting up in making more songs. They have even came up with an album cover, if there is a need for an album. haha. However, this is just for fun sake. Take a look of a design made by one of them.

Finally, greyevening has got something up their sleeves. With Kyle enjoying life after he went through his dreadful life which yet to be told and Ace picking himself up from a deep loss. A loss that shant be mention in pen and paper, rather in notes and rythym. Inspiration is gathered from their share of lifes, the dues they paid and the sentence they did. Kyle is certainly settling into an environment he has been longing for, and Ace just waiting for the right time. So much for jamming. Kyle was imprisoned at TP (Temasek Prison) and Ace is waiting for his release soon. In the meantime, while waiting for Kyle, Ace has come up with some ideas for songs. His inspiration comes from all the crap that happened to him recently. Ace is eager to soothe himself emotionally through music. Ace also believes that Kyle is the only one who appreciates what he does. greyevening is also sorry for making people wait. They promised songs but they gave only one. They are truly, deeply and sincerely apologetic about it. They will write, compose and record their songs once Kyle is released. Actually the truth is that greyevening are having problems. Problems recording their second and third song. They havent got an official place to record our songs. The first song recorded is also temporary. There are certain disorders in the background. So we hope to find a good place as soon as possible. There is this speculation/rumour that GreyeveninG and Nix are in a conflict. Something's funny though, GreyeveninG and two members of Nix, just went out together today. This song is actually about Ace's love life. He met this cute girl about 5 years ago and fell in love.
But till today, this girl hasn't paid any attention to Ace. For 5 years Ace held his words. Today he doubts his friendship with her. He knows that someday she will go away with another person.
Ace just hopes that one day she'll realise his true love towards her.
